Types of Air Compressor Information

An air compressor is basically a compressor that grasps air and increases the amount of air in an exacting space at atmospheric pressure and distributes it at a higher pressure. Through contracting the air inside, the air pressure is increased which in spin creates power that is valuable for different industrial, manufacturing and commercial.

Air compressors are more essential than merely pumping up tires. These industrial instruments can also power nail guns, spray guns, and other tools and machinery. Air compressors effectively use the force of air to produce energy for various equipments.

Types of air compressor:

Piston-Type Air Compressors have in-built tanks which accumulate compressed air. As the air is used up from that tank, the pressure inside reduces down and the motor starts to rebuild the pressure again. The specified pressure settings can be changeable according to requirements.

There are principally two kinds of piston compressors:
Single Stage Compressors - these types of piston compressors have one piston. That compacts and liberates air to the in-built storage container. Single stage compressors are usually utilized by home users.

Two Stage Compressors – These air compressors comprise two pistons that compress and discharge air to the storage container. The first piston compact the air and passes it to the second piston and the second one compresses air to delivers it to the storage container.
